  • You’d want to use Widget Logic for that instead.

What kind of Woocommerce pages did you want to target?

If you’d like to show or hide widgets on product pages, you can use this rule:

To show or hide a widget on your shop’s page (where all products are listed), you can use this rule:

Is there anything else you had in mind? Do not hesitate to give Widget Visibility a try, and let me know if there is a specific use case where you don’t seem to be able to use Widget Visibility!

The issue with the page archive is it displays on ALL archive types. Post archives, forum archives, etc., etc..

I’m trying to simply display the woocommerce widget ONLY on the woocommerce pages.

Woocommerce commented the issue seems to be that widget visibility doesn’t show post type archives. But is limited to page types.

Indeed. We can’t differentiate between archive page types so far.

Woocommerce commented the issue seems to be that widget visibility doesn’t show post type archives.

That’s correct. That’s an option we’ll add in the next version of Jetpack. You can already test the patch on your site by applying the changes here:

That patch broke my site. Everything went white.

It seems to work on my end.

Instead of editing the files directly, may I suggest a safer alternative?

    1. Download this ZIP file: https://github.com/atrus1701/jetpack/archive/widget-visibility-fix-80.zip
    2. Go to the Plugins menu in your dashboard, and deactivate then delete the Jetpack plugin.
    3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload, and upload that zip file you downloaded.
    4. Activate and connect Jetpack again.

Let me know how it went!
