Jetpack updates mess up scheduled posts and RSS feed

  • The last couple of times I’ve updated Jetpack, my scheduled posts have been totally skipped so I’ve had to publish them manually. And the RSS feed goes out a day later than it should. I’ve had to reinstall WordPress to get things going again. I’m very reluctant to upgrade Jetpack, it’s a lot of work to get everything working properly again.

Jetpack should not impact your scheduled posts or your feed. The issue might be caused by a conflict with another plugin.

Do you have any other active plugins on your site? Could you try to deactivate them, one at a time, to check if one of them conflicts with jetpack or causes the issues with your feed?

mine also worked i installed fresh current version of WP 7 days ago, and current Jetpack. Scheduled post was working without a hitch till i got up this morning, no new plugins installed, also having to come on site and manually published missed 4 of 5 so far.

Tried, WP Missed Schedule Fix Failed Future Posts plugin

It works but breaks my connect between my social autopost functions to facebook and twitter have to end up deleting and republishing post manually.

This seems to be an issue with the Scheduling features of WordPress. It doesn’t seem to be related to Jetpack.

You may be able to find some help in the other threads mentioning missed schedules:

im trying the chron job plugin, i see the code loading but i have not worked a chron in almost a decade lol

    publish_future_post [1442] 2013/02/12 16:00:46 (17 minutes 25 seconds) Non-repeating

    publish_future_post [1493] 2013/02/12 17:00:34 (1 hour 17 minutes) Non-repeating

    I have 2 instances

does any of this look weird?

and thank you for your quick response.

I am afraid I may not be able to help you with this, as I am not familiar with the plugin. You might want to start a new thread in the plugin support forums, the plugin author should be able to help you there.
