I am editing a daily, international online newspaper.
We use Jetpack for the statistics and appreciate the functions. However, today we received a prompt that a Jetpack Plugin update was available.
We updated the plugin. It restarted and reactivated fine…
Then we were prompted to reconnect it to our wordpress.com account.
We did that too. The result was NOT fine 😉
After reconnecting Jetpack to the wordpress.com account.
all our photos, in all articles thoughout the entire newspaper suddenly showed in opriginal, full size… that made much of the text unreadable.
WE solved the issue by:
Deactivating Jetpack.. then to reactivate the plugin but NOT to reconnect it to wordpress.com
In other words… our newspaper looks readable and normal again but we do not have any statistics any more…
Help would be very much appreciated. I cannot believe that we are the only ones who have that issue. 🙂
Best regards and thank you for an “otherwise” good product. I hope we can use Jetpack again soon.
