Jetpack Update lead to "Briefly unavailable for schedule maintenance.." Page

    Hello. I am new to WordPress so please be patient with me, haha. I created my site and installed the jetpack plugin update, if I remember correctly, and now when I click on ‘Pages’ a white page appears stating, “Briefly unavailable for schedule maintenance. Check back in a minute.” Well it has been about 30 minutes now and I am still getting the same message. I deleted the jetpack plugin and it still pops up when I click ‘Pages’. I looked through the support forums, saw and read the post that is related to my issue, except I can’t find where the ‘.maintenance’ file is so I can delete it. Can anyone please help me!?!? Thanks :-).

    I ran into this problem just now, and the .maintenance file is in the home folder of the WP install. My Jetpack update in fact did not complete, and this file never got deleted, so I manually moved it out of the folder. My site now works correctly, and also has the latest Jetpack.
