Jetpack Support?

I recently started using this plugin because the other plugin I had been using is no longer supported. I like it a lot due mostly to it’s simplicity. One question:

Can Jetpack support be built in? The bit.ly plugin support Jetpack (http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/bitly/trunk/bitly.php#L107) and I was hoping it could be added here. This would allow those using Jetpack to post YOURLs links automatically (otherwise Jetpach uses the permalink).
