Have you tried to use Jetpack in a localhost environment?

adampetrie: have you tried to find your old id?

Try and see if you have different id:s in the following settings..

    See wp_options:

    In stats_options:
    s:7:”blog_id”;i:xxx

    In jetpack_options
    a:7:{s:2:”id”;i:yyy

And then you can change the jetpack_options to the same as stats_options and you’re back to normal.

You can also try to go to
    https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats&blog=xxx
where xxx is the id in stats_options.

Hope it works for you! I know how frustrating this is…. 🙁

    Thanks Ben72,

Yes I tried this and can retrieve the stats, however my subscribers are no longer notified when I publish nor do new subscribers get attached to the correct blog id.

It seems that your fix (which is quite a good one considering) only sorts out the appearance of the stats page, not the underlying connection.

As I’m writing this tho, I’m wondering if the blog id is used elsewhere to connect the subscribers to the correct blog. I’ll have to look into that later.

Problem is, now I have two sets of stats and 2 sets of subscribers…. ugh.

    Thanks for your input tho.

For anyone who stumbles upon this wondering about a solution. WordPress did get back to me and was able to restore my stats.

May the schwartz be with you.

When upgrading to the latest wp version my jetpack_options id was changed again! And when I connected jetpack again my stats was zero. I disabled all plugins before upgrading. The solution was again to change the jetpack_options id back to what was in stats_options. I think this is buggy?
Next time I will try not to disable jetpack and see if that helps.

Any one figure out ways to get back the subscriber list? I am having the same problem – after reconnect Jetpack, I lost all my subscribers. I don’t care much about stats, since I use google analytics. I hate to lose all my followers.
    HELP PLEASE!!

I know how frustrating this is!

Can you try and lookup your old id and search for all places it’s in using a backup of your page. And then change in those places in the new db where there now is a new id.

    I hope you will succeed!

i put in support request at wp.com. They helped me move the subscribers over to my self-host blog. Now I lost the 3 weeks followers, but get the old followers of 3 months back. It is not perfect, but I will take it. Thanks for help! Looks like you are the help guy here. Appreciated your time.

I have the same problem. I lost stats from 2007 to present.
