Hi, perhaps this is just me, or my excellent website;), but recently my hits have increased significantly (only a few hundred per day).
But I just realised that the top post for this week is Google_utmc with 57 hits today.
This “Post” is one of the “Posts” I did to explain what this cookie is, so that it appears in the listing of cookies used on the site. I didn’t expect it to show up as a top post however.
Is there a way of stopping these from being recorded? I just clicked on the link, and definitely the site is not serving the “Post”, just a 404 error- Not Found. Are others aware of this being recorded as a “hit”?
Would just add that the top post is coming from site stats in the main dashboard page, I am not sure if that widget is a Jetpack addition or a standard wordpress one.
Any comments? Many thanks,
