Jetpack Setup Fails after Upgrade

Trying to setup Jetpack after an upgrade. Previously worked fine. Upon activation I receive:

“Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.”

If I try to Setup Jetpack I get:

“An error occurred. Please try again.”

I have tried the support recommendation to test for xmlrpc:

aircmdr.com/xmlrpc.php doesnt work.
aircmdr.com/wp/xmlrpc.php DOES work.

I have wp installed in wp directory under root. Any workaround to fix this so jetpack works again?
