Jetpack Settings randomly get reset

    I’ve noticed lately that since post version 6, Jetpack occasionally forgets my settings and resets them to the base null values. Sometimes this happens after an update, sometimes not.

    This isn’t broken for me, as it only takes a few minutes to get things back to normal. But what causes this?

    Hey there, @hawkxsx!

    Although it isn’t broken, I’d get pretty frustrated if I had to keep reconfiguring Jetpack’s settings – thank you for reaching out to us about this!

    This isn’t typical behavior, and Jetpack should only completely delete its settings upon deletion of the plugin.

    You haven’t mentioned a site URL, so I am looking at the one listed in your profile:

    Some things to consider:

    – Have you already tried completely deleting and reinstalling the Jetpack plugin?
    – Is something else managing your site’s plugins?
