Jetpack Reconnect Loop
-
Hello Jetpack-Team,
I’ve been using Jetpack for ages and had everything set up for me to work. Now I’ve been asked to reconnect to my wordpress.com account and configure Jetpack. When I click the button to “configure Jetpack” I’m asked to confirm the wordpress.com account I want to use, so I click “Accept” because they’ve got the right one that I’ve logged in with right there, and it tries to connect to it.
That connection fails first of with the error message “cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate”. I have a let’s encrypt cert on my domain. When I click “try again” it does seem to connect and redirects me to the Jetpack page to choose a plan… after I’ve scrolled through a lot of plan suggestions I find the free plan at the very bottom and click “Start for free”.
It redirects me back to the WordPress admin page where I see the exact same “Configure Jetpack” dialogue that I saw before. When I try again I go through the same cycle, again and again.
So far I’ve tried to delete and reinstall the plugin and made sure that the xmlrpc file is accessible. Now I’m out of ideas and hope you guys can help me out 🙂
Thank you!
