jetpack-portfolio invalid post type (3 posts)

    Hi All,

This is my first post as I am very confused about the "portfolio" feature of the Illustratr theme on a self-hosted wordpress site.

The FAQ tells me that I need to first enable "portfolios" by going to settings>writing and enabling custom content types. This option is simply not there.

I have installed jetpack also in case that was an issue with the site being self-hosted but no change there.

What I can do is create a page using the portfolio page template. When I go to view this page, it says at the bottom "Ready to publish your first project? Get started here." When I click this link it says "invalid post type" with the url:

    post-new.php?post_type=jetpack-portfolio

    Can anybody help with this?

    Regards,

    Shaun

    Hey,

I posted a similar question in the Jetpack forum a couple weeks ago. One of the Jetpack developers said that Portfolio content type support was coming soon but that there wasn't a definite time table for it.

    My Question

So it ought to work with Jetpack soon. There may be another plug-in that would support this content type but I wasn't able to find one the other day. If you figure out a fix, let me know. I'd love to use illustratr on a project I'm working on.

Thank you, I will await the next jetpack release and hope that it gets included as it would be a fantastic addition to many self-hosted wordpress sites.
