Ok, taking a look at this page
http://viendamaria.com/2016/01/its-the-second-day-of-2016-sweet-16-folks-are-calling-it/
It seems that there are a couple of widgets on the footer, in 2 columns.
You can go to Appearence > Widgets
Locate the Popular Widget that you want to move (probably is in the sidebar area) and move it to an empty column of the footer widget area.
If there are no empty columns, you can place it above or below another widget.
Hope this help you!

Yes, that;s how I put the widget in the footer, but how do I make it sit horizontally across, instead of vertically? (Sorry I see I mis-typed in my question and wrote vertical twice, instead of horizontal and then vertical).
I see, like here?

Can you tell me which theme are you using?
Because you will need a wide widget area and some basic CSS 😉

Yes, exactly. 🙂
I am using Headway Themes.
Unfortunately, I never used Headway Themes.
As far as I can see, It has a visual editor / Template builder, so maybe you can create a new footer area full width and place your widget there?

I’ll try that. Thank you very much for your time and help! 🙂
Let me know if that helps!
