Hi there!
Thank you for the screencast! I don’t see any issues with Jetpack on your site and the Podcast Player works as expected on my test site with your podcast link. You mentioned your site is an AMP one, it might be the issue here but it may also be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
To make this easier, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I’ll try.
It may be due to my site being AMP. Do you know if this particular jetpack component was built with AMP compatibility.
I have the popular seo plugin, so I don’t think that is a cause of its inoperability.

I confirmed it was the AMP format out of my sight. I attempted to plug-in on another website that is not AMP, and it exhibited the same behavior. So it is not AMP compatible.
Could it be made to be AMP compatible because I really love this plug-in for podcasts, it is perfect! It is so close to being AMP compatible and I think that fixing a few things and it’ll be good to go. It is a fantastic plug-in, please, please, please, let’s make it AMP compatible.
I will delete the feature for now. Thank you.

Thanks for confirming. I have added this as an enhancement request here, on GitHub so that our developers can check if it would be possible. You can follow the issue there to check for updates 🙂
