Jetpack Plugin Stats on 2 separate domains, need merging

I’ve been dealing with this problem for a while now, however I didn’t know there was a solution to fix it until I stumbled across an old thread that has since been closed: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/moved-wp-to-root-jetpack-stats-reset-merge?replies=25

Basically, when we were working on a new layout, the site was put on a development server, but somehow our Jetpack stats were moved as well, and ever since (about 2 years ago) we’ve been working with new stats.

I would like to get my old stats back (right now, it says we’ve peaked at 57,000 pageviews, but with our old stats merged in, it would say we’ve peaked at 300,000 views — our biggest traffic to date).

I’ve been collecting stats since 2010 and would like those old stats back. Is this possible or have I waited too late?
