  • Hello,

    When I open an existing or create a new page, post, or portfolio I am unable to switch between visual and text editor. The problem goes away when I disconnect Jetpack from my wordpress.com account. I asked my theme authors for help (I am currently using Theme X by Themeco) and they said the problem lies with the Jetpack plugin which seems to be the case.

    I have installed the latest version of Jetpack (version 6.2.1). Please advise how to fix the issue.

    Uh, I’m sorry about that. I just checked our system and it seems like we didn’t receive your message at all 🙁

    I also tried to replicate the issue on my end, but it seems like the WordPress.com user that’s got the ownership of the plugin doesn’t have any Admin access to the site itself through the WordPress.com blue dashboard.

    At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening. Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

    In the meantime, just to confirm that it’s a theme-related issue, can you try to temporarily switch your theme to Twenty Sixteen and see if the problem persists? You’re welcome to use the Theme Switcha plugin to do that:

    This plugin let you change themes without it affecting the way users see your site.
