Jetpack plugin causing 500 error

    Hi there,
    I recently bought and installed Jetpack because I need to embed a bandcamp player. As soon as I attempted to activate, I was unable to access my dashboard. I get this error message:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@meganodonoghue.com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I’m assuming that it’s the Jetpack plugin. I have absolutely no experience with FTP or php or anything of that nature and no idea how to fix this, it’s super intimidating and I want to eat an entire bag of doritos and cry in the bathtub.
