    Hi there,

Are you able to provide more information around when this happens? For example, does this happen only when you update the plugin? When you try do to something else specific?

What you describe happens if a file in the plugin becomes corrupted, and it’s extremely unlikely that this would just happen randomly without anything having been done to trigger it.

I don’t know because it seems randomical.
For what I have seen it is possible that it happen in one of this situations (or combination of them??)

Most of time i was Logged and I’m working (like create a post for example, but not updating plugins. Bat one o two times I was not working on site.
I have autoupdate activated on WordPress and it is possible that there was an update. I can’t see because removing plugin and reinstalling it I lost this information.

How many Jetpack upgrades have there been in the last week?

It is possible that problem is linked to have two Jetpack in same domain (www.stefanogiolo.it and http://www.stefanogiolo.it/blog) or two domanain in same jetpack (www.stefanogiolo.it/blog and http://www.staipa.it/blog)?

There has to be something causing this. A file cannot just get corrupted for no reason.

Editing or creating content on your site does not modify any file in Jetpack in the process.

What is most likely happening is that the plugin is hitting memory limits on your server, causing a plugin update to time out. You can try increasing the memory limit on your server to see if that helps:

There has been two further updates since Jetpack 7.5 was released last week.

It is possible that problem is linked to have two Jetpack in same domain (www.stefanogiolo.it and http://www.stefanogiolo.it/blog) or two domanain in same jetpack (www.stefanogiolo.it/blog and http://www.staipa.it/blog)?

No, as those are two completely separate sites, both on your end and ours.

I have the same problem after the 7.5.1.

What version of PHP are you running?

    5.6

That should be enough, are you able to bump up to PHP 7.2 or 7.3?

Though both WordPress and Jetpack require at least PHP 5.6, WordPress recommends 7.3.

If there’s no change, please reach out to us via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support so we can take a closer look.

    I have recreated the problem.
I still working changing some pages, and CPU and I/O was have a peack of 100% bloking the site fore a lot of time.
Removing Jetpack directory CPU and memory was normalized.
This think is appened a lot of time, then I think that Jetpack generate CPU and IO in wrong way, and imact on server stability

But this happens only on the one site, and not the other, correct? If the problem was with Jetpack, it would be affecting both sites in the same way, all else being equal. Which means it’s more likely that this is something to do with your server configuration.

Are there any differences in the memory allocated to those two sites, for example?

And have you checked it with Jetpack active, but all other plugins disabled? The fact that disabling Jetpack fixes it doesn’t prove it’s Jetpack causing the problem. It could still be another plugin causing a conflict with Jetpack.

It happen in both site in different moments.

In your original post you said this was only happening on the one site:

I have two site, one in http://www.stefanogiolo.it and one in wwww.staipa.it/blog.
Second one is visible also in http://www.stefanogiolo.it/blog.
Periodically the second one (the blog) becomes unreachable, also my admin section.

You are using a very high number of plugins on both sites, so please follow the steps I provided above to rule out a plugin conflict as the cause.

    Sometime appen also in first.
I can disable some plugin but then? I will wait withpout plugin for one hour? two? one day? one week?
I try all combinations of plugins? For wich time?
Do you understand that it is no possible?

But every time that i instal Jetpack after a few minutes site go down. for too much RAM and CPU consumption.
