I am using version 5.1 of the Jetpack plugin on my self hosted WordPress site.

This plugin won’t track visits any more. I have tested this out by visiting my site from a different IP address (IE not connected to my Wi-fi network) but it doesn’t seem to recognize any visits.

I disabled and re-enabled the plugin and even uninstalled it completely and reinstalled it then connected it to wordpress.com again but it just won’t track any visits.

I disabled all plugins except for Jetpack and still have this issue.

There are a couple of things to consider here, by default Jetpack won’t track logged-in users. Also, if you recently switched themes it could be because your theme does not have wp_footer(); in their footer.php file.

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

I know that Jetpack doesn’t track your stats when you are logged in. That is why I am logged into the dashboard on my desktop computer and am visiting my site from my phone with wifi off so Jetpack doesn’t think that its coming from the same IP address.

I switched to the default Twenty Seventeen theme (which I did verify has the call to wp_footer() on footer.php) and still have this issue.

I am using the contact form to submit my URL although you won’t be able to obviously see anything on the PHP side of things.
