Suddenly my blog (www.imtoooldtodothis.com), using Jetpack, has stopped sending emails to subscribers when I send out a new post. I’ve tried several different themes, and I’ve re-installed Jetpack twice to see if there was a problem there.

I’ve gone back and forth on setting my latest post to a draft and then re-publishing it, but none of my subscribers are getting notification of any post.

Do you all have any suggestions? I’m tired of exporting my subscriber list and sending them an email about a new post.

    Thanks.

Just as addition, I’ve deactivated Jetpack and found some alternatives in the interim. If anyone has any ideas, I’ll be more than glad to re-activate it and give them a try.

Just to add insult to injury, once I disabled Jetpack 2.4.2 I was able again to add media from my library. With Jetpack activated I had to drag and drop pictures into posts.

There’s some issues with Jetpack. It’s a good product, but this most recent incarnation is devastating. Fortunately, I’ve found plug ins with widgets that do what I was doing with Jetpack.

    Hi Marty,

This kind of thing usually happens if you connected Jetpack to WordPress.com while your site had a development or temporary URL and not the URL it has now. If you happened to disconnect and then reconnect Jetpack, it thinks that it is a new site and thus the subscribers associated with the site are not associated with the right URL. Normally I can find the old URL that was associated with the site, but in your case, I’m unable to. I May be able to if you were to give me your WordPress.com username or the email address associated with the account. You can send that to me via our contact form: http://jetpack.me/contact-support/ . Make sure to link to this thread in your message.

At the same time, I do see that your site’s URL does have subscribers associated with it, so the issue may lie elsewhere with your WordPress installation; do you want to try troubleshooting it?

As for the media library issue, I do not know what the cause of that was, it may be a theme or plugin conflict. If you’d like, I can also try to help troubleshoot that if you want to give Jetpack another shot. Let me know!

Richard, my wordpress.com URL doesn’t exist any more, as I deleted it once the subscribers were transferred over. Could that be what’s causing the problem.

I will fill out the form and send it to you.

I am having the same problem. I use Jetpack with my WordPress and have subscriptions with another company. I update whenever I’m told to. My subscribers always received an email when a new post went up. Suddenly: Nada. My blog is blog.ronarecommends.com. I am so frustrated. I keep thinking that maybe I accidentally changed a settging but I have combed through page after page and see nothing to tinker with. Please walk me through a solution. http://blog.ronagindin.com/
