    Hello Jetpack
I suspect a Jetpack-plugin on a deleted website is causing problems to my students, and if it is so I need you to help me. The thing is that I teach WordPress to my students by installing WP into different subfolders to our main domain informatik-slagelse.dk. Last year it worked perfectly even though I had about 30 websites running at the same time.
This year it doesn’t work well. We have far too much traffic on the server and it takes ages to log in.
I have studied the 404-log file from my host, and here I have found Jetpack many times. Again and again it tries to contact one of the websites from last year. These have been deleted, however, and so I have no way of stopping this, especially as I wasn’t the one installing the plugin. I have 74 such contacts from the last 24 hours. They look something like the following:
    192.0.101.226 – – [30/Apr/2019:00:46:53 +0200] “HEAD /1e/gruppe2” 404 “-” “jetmon/1.0 (Jetpack Site Uptime Monitor by WordPress.com)”

The original website probably had the following address: http://informatik-slagelse.dk/1e/gruppe2.

Of course I don’t know if the problems originate in Jetpack, but it seems possible.

Can you help me? And if you have any other idea on how to solve my problem, I will be grateful.

    Sincerely
    Karen
