Same problem here! I’ve tried everything!
It does support infinite scroll. I have it set up on the demo:
http://demos.bavotasan.com/destin/
That is the premium version with widgets added to the footer so the scroll requires a button instead of loading automatically.
Can I see this live on one of your sites?
Yes, I seem to be having the same problem with this slow scrolling and stuttering on Destin Basic (an otherwise superb theme, I hasten to add) with Jetpack infinite scroll.

The slow-ness is most likely due to your server. It takes a long time for your site to load. Are you on a shared server?
hi bavota,
how did you fix the duplication of posts with IS on your demo?
also, you have
.infinite-scroll .navigation {
display: none;
}
defined in css, which makes the standard navigation disappear on a normal archive page with enough posts to paginate, because the infinite-scroll class appears in the body.
any way to stop that too?
thanks
What do you mean by duplication of posts?
Add this to the Custom CSS editor for the nav issue:
.archive.infinite-scroll .navigation {
display: block;
}
hi bavota,
thanks for the css tip.
the issue with jetpack i’m referring to has been reported many times with jetpack’s team, but so far no definitive solution has been given
Duplicate posts when using Infinite loop and offset
Infinite Scroll duplicate posts from 6th one
Infinite Scroll duplicate posts using Query with Sticky Posts
Infinite scroll and first page duplicate posts
most of the above deal with custom loops, but given the loop on destin-basic’s home does not seem to be a special query, maybe it’s something to do with sticky posts? i dunno, but maybe you can try on your demo and see if that created problem.
the only thing i know is that i have a button for loading another group of posts on the same page, but when i hit it, it loads the same first group tat is already on the page, then it loads a new group and so on. but the first few are a duplication.
hope you have a solution for that too.
hi bavotasan,
i haven’t found a solution, but i did find what’s causing the problem: it’s the Intuitive Custom Post Order plugin.
hopefully the developer will get back with a solution.
an update on the conflict issue between Infinite Scroll and custom ordering plugins (any, it seems)
