@printobject – Given you changed the site over to the HTTPS protocol you might look at using the Reset Tool for NextGEN Gallery as a starting point (as well as insuring you are up-to-date).
Please try our external Reset Tool plugin here: https://bitbucket.org/photocrati/nextgen-gallery-reset/get/default.zip
To install and activate, go to Plugins > Add New … Upload Plugin
To use, go to Tools > NextGEN Gallery Reset
We do not offer specific support for the Reset Tool plugin as is but it can help in many circumstances, please let us know if it does.
Thanks!

Ok, so time has passed and I finally got around to trying the Reset Tool plugin to no effect. When Jetpack infinite scroll is enabled I get the “Load more posts using the default theme behavior” not “Load more posts as the reader scrolls down” behavior. If I deactivate NextGEN Gallery plugin, Jetpack Infinite Scroll starts working again without changing Jetpack settings. Again, any ideas are appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Hi,
Just concurring the same thing happened for me too. The site was recently updated to https. The Jetpack infinite scroll stopped working. Deactivating NextGen fixed it.
@blitz999 – Please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.

+1, I also have this exact issue
I have raised a bug report, referencing this thread.
The console error I receive is: Uncaught ReferenceError: infiniteScroll is not defined
