Jetpack Has Disappeared and so has Facebook and Twitter

    Hi!

    PLEASE, PLEASE. HELP. I HAVE POSTED ALREADY AND RECEIVED ZERO SUPPORT.I HAD A PROBLEM SIX MONTHS AGO AND POSTED HERE AND AGAIN ZERO SUPPORT!!!!

    I logged into my wordpress.org site yesterday and jetpack has gone, resulting in my Facebook and Twitter feeds on my blog disappearing too.

    When trying to install it again this is all I get…

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.3.4.3.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/p3nexnas06_data01/78/2052478/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/

    Plugin install failed.

    I also have tried to update to wordpress 4.1.2. but my dashboard says it is still running 4.1.1

    I have no idea what to do.

    Both of you will need to use FTP or CPanel (ask your hosting company for help if you are not familiar with using those) to manually delete the JetPack folder from your site files on the server – find them here:

    wp-content
  plugins
     jetpack - DELETE THIS FOLDER

    Then try reinstalling it from your Dashboard.

    @zstrev – BTW, your earlier post was actually not on the JetPack forum – so that’s why you did not get a reply, sorry. If mods see those, we redirect people right away, but unfortunately, no one caught that one.

    @joann Williams – if you need more help that this post, please start your own thread.
