JetPack FOOD MENU WPML RAM limit

    Hello,

    Plugin I used CMS WordPress plugin combined with WPML (Multilingual). Web hosting to running with a limit of 256MB RAM (this is the limit for WPML). Overall, the web works, but for the module FOOD MENU (JetPack module), there are these two errors:
    1 / when sorting items or individual sections can not be saved via the button “SaveNewOrder” because the server is reporting error) probably due to memory)

    2 / even though the front-end item ranks without saving button over here … .When it is acceptable, but it has a bug shift to another language version FOOD MENU (Item translated via WPML)

    FOOD MENU item in the CZ has a different position than in the EN version of the item and, if we shift the entries in the administration of GB version, so even move items in the EN version … .což suppose that’s correct, but each interlinked / translated items have the same location.

    I am doing something wrong? It is imperative to impose order over the button “SaveNewOrder”? Please advice, I stuck

    Could you let me know what the errors are exactly?

    If you do not see any errors on screen, could you add the following to your site’s wp-config.php file? 

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

if ( WP_DEBUG ) {

        @error_reporting( E_ALL );
        @ini_set( 'log_errors', true );
        @ini_set( 'log_errors_max_len', '0' );

        define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
        define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
        define( 'CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );
        define( 'SAVEQUERIES', true );

}

    Once you’ve done so, try to recreate the error and then check the wp-content/debug.log file for errors. You can paste the results here. You can then replace define('WP_DEBUG', true); by define('WP_DEBUG', false); in the code above.

    Hallo,
    We have found the following problems:

    1/ memory limit – debug.log – at the end of the text
    Not alwayes, So not only causes
    What is the RAM memory limit for JetPack?

    2/ server error URI to large, by click on button “Save New Order”
    Request-URI Too Large
    The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.
    Apache/2.2.31 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.31 OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips mod_fcgid/2.3.9 Server at webxc01s08.forpsi.com Port 80
    What is necessary to set the hosting server?

    3/ It is compatible with JetPack plugin WPML?

    4/ When moving sections in the Food Menu-JetPack there sometimes and not together with the two warning:
    a/ memory limit
    b/ PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 3 in /web/htdocs1/restauracepodolkacz/home/www/wp-includes/media.php on line 3103

    INFO: So when moving sections in one language is not synchronized scrolling in another language (WPML plugin). Both languages now have the same number of sections. Error with buttons SevaNewOrder (URI too large) reports FoodMenu where more sections.

    Currently we know the cause why it does not work well. Please help 🙂

    What is the RAM memory limit for JetPack?

    That value depends on your server and site settings, so you’ll have to check there. You can follow the instructions here to increase the amount of memory allocated to PHP on your site:

    Does this happen every time, or only when you try to make multiple changes at once, via the bulk options?

    It is compatible with JetPack plugin WPML?

    I’m afraid I’m not familiar enough with WPML to answer that question. I’m not sure how WPML handles each language. Jetpack’s Menus only allow you to create one menu, with different sections, so it wasn’t built to manage mutliple menus, one in each language. Does WPML allow you to translate each menu item inside a single menu?

    We don’t have such requirements, as the default WordPress requirements are usually good enough. However, like for all other plugins and themes, the memory requirement doesn’t depend on one plugin alone; it depends on the number of plugins you use, as well as the number of features your theme includes, the amount of queries needed to display those features, and how much of it can be cached.

    Could you give me a number of items, so I can try to reproduce? Is that around 10, 100, or more?

    Since Jetpack doesn’t handle the language separation, that’s something you’ll need to figure out with WPML.

    What JetPack plugin is tested as compatible for Multilingual?

    We do not recommend one Multilingual plugin over another, but I’ve personally found it easier to use Multisite networks to handle Multilingual websites. This could give you some insights:

    That might indeed be a problem. I’d recommend using less items each time. You’d most likely experience similar issues if you were trying to bulk edit 100 WordPress posts at once.

    I need to know if you can be shifted for each language individual or whether it really must be tied.

    We think what’s the problem with the gearbox.     I’d recommend contacting the WPML folks about this, as the whole multilingual part is not handled or created by Jetpack; WPML controls where that language data is saved. I won’t be of much help here I’m afraid.

    Yes, I have now created a new topic on popdoře WPML the same query. For a single-language version of the store mode for sorting items into the database JetPack so I entered a query on you 🙂 I had hoped that such a problem (The compatibility with WPML) already dealt with anyone before and you will have on this awareness. So I take it from your side is a proposal for a solution?

    Hello, I come back to the topic.
    According to the extract from the database (see screen), it is a function of JetPack, which rewrites itself (one and the same variable for multiple language versions).
    Thus Jetpack or not compatible for Multilingual? JetPack counts with Multilingual?
    If so, why rewrites one variable more languages? What are your solutions for this?

    I don’t know how or where WPML attempts to save the different versions of the menus you create, so I’m afraid I can’t help you there. If WPML attempts to save each language variation in the original database option, then I’m afraid that means Jetpack’s Menus are not compatible with WPML.
