Jetpack Feedback Spam – Deletion issues

    Looking in Google, I can see this has been a issue a lot of folks have brought up before, but not seeing a resolution to it, I thought I might as well put a new Forum post to see if the Jetpack folks will address it.

    The issue is that Feedback spam is currently CHOKING my site.

    Granted, I wasn’t the best gardener and didn’t tend my feedback patch well, but since I was last in there to do anything meaningful, I’ve accumulated 77,000 bits of spam.

    My issues:

    Empty Spam crashes my server
    Move 200+ at once to Trash, crashes my server
    Screen Option to more that 200 (tried the max of 499), crashes my server

    What seems to work is turning my screen option t Display Date speeds things up a little, but dos not make deleting all any better, nor does it really let me opt for more that 200 (that seems like the server sweet spot but I’m about to try 250).

    So, my question/ask/problem is why isn’t there an Askimet style automatic delete for items left in folder for more than, say, 30 days?

    And, it looks like 250 isn’t to hard on the WP build.
