Thanks for clarifying! Custom post types are automatically included in your stats. It may take a little time for visitor information to populate, but there’s nothing else you need to do to enable it.
Just to be safe, I’d be happy to double check that the stats tracking code is working properly. Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?
