# Jetpack connection lost

 * Two days ago Jetpack lost the connection. I first tried to reconnect, then even
   to remove the whole plugin but the connection is still broken. How can I debug
   the problem?

 * Jetpack relies on the `xmlrpc.php` file to connect with our systems. Right now,
   it looks like something is blocking that connection, causing Jetpack to disconnect.
 * I’d suggest contacting your hosting provider and having them search into security
   logs for any blocked requests from our servers. Our requests look like the following:

   –**

 * Hello,
 * thanks for the fast reply. xmlrpc.php is not blocked. Here is the answer from
   the hosting provider:
 * “The access to xmlrpc.php isn’t block. If you access it – [https://langohrwelt.com/xmlrpc.php](https://langohrwelt.com/xmlrpc.php)
 *  you’ll get this message: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”
 * What else can be the reason?

 * Sorry to have you stuck in the middle here, but I tested this again, and we’re
   being blocked. After several requests I am seeing the following error:
 *     ```
       HTTP/2 403 
       date: Thu, 24 Mar 2022 19:28:48 GMT
       server: Varnish
       x-varnish: 950811901
       content-type: text/html; charset=utf-8
       content-length: 7
       ```
   
 * A [403 Error](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/403) indicates
   that the server is limiting our requests.
 * If your host is blocking the connection directly, it may be that you have a security
   plugin installed or an `.htaccess` entry that may be limiting access.
