After my host updated site IPs I have an issue connecting to Jetpack.

    The message says:

    Outbound HTTPS not working
Your site could not connect to WordPress.com via HTTPS. This could be due to any number of reasons, including faulty SSL certificates, misconfigured or missing SSL libraries, or network issues.

Jetpack will re-test for HTTPS support once a day, but you can click here to try again immediately: Try again WordPress reports no SSL support

For more help, try our connection debugger or troubleshooting tips.

    and then:

cURL error 7: Failed to connect to jetpack.wordpress.com port 443: No route to host

What might be happening and do you know any fixes to this situation?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • First, make sure that WordPress, your theme, and all plugins are up-to-date.

Then, if you’re still seeing a problem, temporarily deactivate all other plugins except for Jetpack and see if the issue persists.

If there is still a problem, let us know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once we get more feedback.

I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work. My host is currently (for 2 weeks) directing to my site via two separate IPs. Maybe Jetpack is confused. I’ll wait and see what happens when my old IP is no more.

    Will do.

If you’re still seeing the problem after that, please contact your site host and have them follow the steps under the Whitelist all communications between WordPress.com and Jetpack section here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/

We hope that helps and let us know if you have any more questions.
