Hi, can someone help with an issue i am having with my jetpack connection? I have ran a site health check with no known errors and every time I login to my site I get the following message:

“Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection”

I can see no obvious errors within the Jetpack plugin page or other settings. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I am also having an issue with my sites Domain, I have pointed it to the correct domain as per our WAF which the site must stay within but WordPress recommends we change the domain name servers.

Something isnt right here so any advice would be great.

    Thanks
    Innes

    Hi Innes

From our end, your Jetpack connection appears to be working correctly. Are you still having trouble?

I am also having an issue with my sites Domain, I have pointed it to the correct domain as per our WAF which the site must stay within but WordPress recommends we change the domain name servers.

Can you provide any more information about this? What’s the issue you’re seeing, and what have you been told to change the nameservers to?

Hi Dan, thanks for getting back to me and confirming our connection is ok. When trying to navigate between the wp-admin and the site settings, that’s when I get the ‘check your jetpack connection’ error, press ok and it disappears.

Strangely I am still getting the issues around completing my domain setup even though everything at our end is ok, the domain is registered and it’s the primary domain. It merely says that we must following these steps to complete domain setup, we dont want to change any of the name servers as the site is sitting behind our WAF and we already have the relevant DNS records in place. Kind of stumped in how to fix this.

Also, when trying to edit the general settings of our site I get a connection error and I am unable to update anything.

    Hi @innesz

It appears your site is a WordPress.com Business plan site, so you are eligible to get live chat support from them. You can access that by going to:

    https://wordpress.com/me

Then down at the bottom right click on the Question Mark and then choose “Contact us” – that support team will likely be able to help you much faster than we can here on the forums.
