Jetpack is generating Debug bar error where if click Debug, it goes to the admin of the coming soon page instead of displaying error

tried with different coming soon plugins

    disable jetpack no problems

enable jetpack, conflict with different plugins

    maybe resolved, but very BUGGY

not sure if caching issue, but in trying different ‘coming soon’ plugins – enabling disabling jetpack etc … conflict with debug and the coming soon plugins persisted with Jetpack disabled… but stopped when Deleted Jetpack completely, including data

per another thread I manually installed JP

    network enabled

upon connecting to wordpress.com, site crashed offline (this happens on another multisite too)

currently not throwing any errors in Jetpack dashboard or coming soon plugin dashboards

That’s indeed to be expected. Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately, coming soon plugins often block access to that file, alongside with all the other pages on your site.

To avoid such issues, I’d suggest using Jetpack’s Development mode as long as your site is not live. You can use a plugin like this one to enable Jetpack’s Development mode on your site:
