[resolved] Jetpack breaking Slidetabs? (3 posts)

    Hi, When Jetpack is installed my Slidetabs galleries break, becoming plain lists. I found that this code:

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://paaliaq.net/wp-content/plugins/slidetabs/templates/spaced/template.css?v=1.0.5" media="screen" />

    is missing from the pages (all except Home) when Jetpack is activated.

    I have read elsewhere something about "wp_enqueue_script" and issues of loading or registering javescript? But I am not very technical and wanted to know is there a way to fix this issue easily?

    Are you referring to this plugin?

    I looked at the demo, and the plugin seems to be loading an old version of jQuery instead of using the version that comes bundled with WordPress.

    It can create multiple conflicts with WordPress and with other plugins like Jetpack. You can read more about it here:

    Since it seems to be a premium plugin, you should be able to get in touch with the plugin author and ask them to update the plugin to use the proper version of jQuery.

    Yes it's that one.

    Ok, I didn't know that, thanks for the reply, I'll try that. I've found it only seems to happen with the Stats and Publicize parts..
