 * Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment.
   That explains the missing subscribers and stats.
 * Could you go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of
   the page, and click on “Disconnect from WordPress.com”? Once you’ve done so you’ll
   be able to reconnect to WordPress.com by clicking on the connect button at the
   top of the page.
 * If you experience issues when reconnecting, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger
   module to send us some more information about your site?
 * 1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing
   at the bottom of the page. 3) Click the link that says “click here to contact
   Jetpack support.” 4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
   5) Click the “Contact Support” button.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi Jeremy
 * I don’t have a “Disconnect from WordPress.com” option on my end. Everything’s
   still loading in basic HTML on Windows (loads fine on my Mac once I’ve deactivated
   the WordPress SEO plugin). At the top and the bottom of the Jetpack page I see
   a “Connect to Get Started” option. Which doesn’t work, gives me a 500 error.
 * I’ve sent the issue info to the Jetpack Debugger module last night.
 * Holding thumbs for a speedy fix.
 * Thanks.

 * Since you get a 500 error, it might be useful if you could look at your error
   logs and send us the details about that error. That might help us narrow things
   down. It might also give you some details explaining why the whole dashboard
   is broken on your site.
    If you don’t know how to get your server error logs,
   your host should be able to help.
 * Since things get fixed when deactivating the WordPress SEO plugin, I would also
   suggest increasing the memory allocated to PHP on your site, as explained here:

   [http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP](http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP)
 * It’s a common issue with WordPress, and could be what’s causing all this trouble.

 * Hi Jeremy
 * I’ve asked my host and this is what they’ve sent to me:
 * Below is the error logged last on the admin Error_log.
 * [29-Sep-2014 07:37:12] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_option()
   on a non-object in /home/saajid1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/
   wp-statistics.php on line 104
 * Regarding the dashboard and the SEO Plugin, unfortunately, it’s now showing in
   basic HTML on my Mac 🙁

 * Thanks!
 * The error seems to be caused by a plugin named `wp-statistics`. Could you try
   to deactivate it?

 * Hi Jeremy
 * I’ve deactivated every single plugin I have and my dashboard is now showing fine.
   I am going to deleted, download and reinstall each one soon.
 * Will this sort out my Jetpack issue?

 * I can’t know for sure. You’ll have to test it yourself. If you start experiencing
   issues again, you can follow the same steps we went through earlier:
    - Deactivate each plugin, one at a time, until you find the one plugin that
      causes problems.
    - When getting 500 errors, ask your host for details about the error so you
      can know what plugin caused it.
    - If the issue is not caused by one specific plugin, try increasing the memory
      allocated to PHP on your site.
 * I hope this helps.

 * I’ve deleted the WP Statistics plugin, kept all other plugins deactivated and
   reactivated Jetpack only.
 * Unfortunately, I still cannot connect to WordPress.com, gives me this error:
 * Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible

   Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP
   500]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you
   need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: [http://jetpack.me/support/](http://jetpack.me/support/)
 * I also can’t even go to the “settings” for Jetpack as it gives me this:
 * You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
 * My PHP memory allocation is 128MB (I checked on my CPanel under PHP Configuration).

 * Hi Jeremy
 * I’ve contacted my host to increase the memory and everything is working again
   🙂
 * Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com and I’ve got my stats and subscribers back.
 * The backend doesn’t load in basic HTML any longer.
 * Thank you for all your assistance thus far!
