Jetpack 3.9.3 shortcode embeds cause missing letters

    Upgrading to Jetpack 3.9.3 today caused the lowercase letter i to go missing in all of my comments. This was across all of my websites. Disable shortcode embeds brings the letter i back.

    Yes — same problem with same solution. Hopefully there will be a permanent fix.

    Same here.

    For anyone else looking for the solution to the lowercase i error, disable “Shortcodes” in the Jetpack menu.

    Same problem here. Disabling short code embeds corrected the problem. Of course, I am not certain by doing this what it will do to my site.

    The update’s come through from Jetpack. And the issues stands resolved, I believe.
