P.S. I updated W3 Total Cache at the same time and notice you mention a conflict with Minify – which wasn’t enabled anyway. But I have now deactivated W3TC and still no fix.
Please this is very urgent my site is still live and we heavily rely on video content.
I’m in the same boat, and use both plugins, deactivating makes no difference, and looking at the page source the youtube iframe seems to be present. Very odd.

It’s really odd and a shame. Site was working fine before both updates.

Thankfully, the problem fixed itself after a few hours.
Still curious as to what went wrong if anyone can share, and should both plugins not be used together or what?
Thanks.
You should be able to use both plugins.
How do you currently embed videos on your site? Do you use a specific plugin, or Jetpack shortcodes, or do you paste the video URL on a separate line?

Hi Jeremy,
I simply copy the embedded code from Youtube for example and paste in the HTML section of the text.
While this method works as well, as shouldn’t create any problems with Jetpack, I would recommend that you use the oEmbed method described here:

It’s also easier, since you only have to copy the video URL. 🙂
