Jetpack 2.0: Post by Email bugs

    Hola a todos,
    when I installed this two days ago, it all seemed fine. But now there seem to be three different bugs, if not even more:

    1. Post by Email deactivates comments on new posts.
    2. Attached images are resized to maximum width.
    3. Text below embedded images (in emails from iOS devices in my case) is deleted, with or without an additional “[end]” tag.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    I think these bugs can only be adjusted on Jetpack’s server side and are out of control for users like us. But I’d love to be wrong and happily fix it myself if I knew a solution.

    Thanks Jeremy – Something happened right after I did that post which I am unsure how to explain (as far as the cause anyways)… I installed jetpack and activated post by email on a site i set up for a friend who just got married so she and her husband could document their around the world honeymoon trip from their iPhones. While testing it out with a couple of photos, I discovered that it was indeed displaying the photos at 1024×1024 BUT it was also cropping them! So they looked fine! No skewed 4:3 aspect squished into 3:3 aspects! Unlike on every other site i have running post by email…

    I am waiting for her OK before i post a link to it – i will tho when she says yes.

    The only difference is that i also had “Resize Image After Upload” and “Sharpen Resized Images” turned on at some point trying to resolve the sizing issue – deactivated now but the images are cropped and not squished!
