# JavaScript/Jquery Maps plugin

 * I am looking for a maps plugin that does not use flash, but JavaScript/Jquery
   and offers zoom options and an option to click a location and show a popup box
   likeL [http://ncmarinescience.com/](http://ncmarinescience.com/) Anyone? I would
   love to have a plugin for it to upload maps + zoomed versions as well as texts
   for the popups..

 * You could try gPress – [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gpress/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gpress/)–
   as this will allow you to add “places” that are represented by a marker on a 
   map with a pop-up containing their description and (or) image…
 * gPress also does a whole lot more, but it is in an early Beta state.
