JavaScript within WordPress page (centre section)
-
working JavaScript system – http://stroudvoices.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/VoicesSearch12.htm type “martin” or “berco” in one input box and click display button – it functions (=DHTML ish) and is stored within WordPress for convenience, mostly.
http://stroudvoices.co.uk/iframe-test/ is another method of using it. But understandably it can’t recognise the sc player plugin. But it does show which page on which I want to put the content.
The reason for the above is proof of concept and lack of understanding of the http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Javascript .
1) I can put all the code in a single file and invoke it from a page but will it run as JavaScript should?
2) And more specifically can the SC Player plugin be invoked after the DHTML is generated – after loading the page? All help appreciated – I can’t FTP at present so any tinkering with PHP (even if understood) is unlikely.
PS I have loaded the “CSS & JavaScript Toolbox” plugin which loads HTML etc above everything and is unsuitable in many other ways. (no JavaScript (per se) used on this page yet – http://stroudvoices.co.uk/searchme/ )
TIA
