Javascript SRC removing "S" from "HTTPS://"

  • Hello. I’m hoping you can help me. I’m not too familiar with this Plug-in but I’m working for a client who has it installed.

We’re trying to add a javascript file to the footer and something is stripping out the “S” in “HTTPS://” when the page is rendered by the browser.

Could this plug-in be causing this?

If so, can you please post a solution?

    Thanks!

  • I encountered the same issue for a nonprofit client with a third-party e-newsletter signup in the footer. HTTPS Plugin appears to replace “https://” for 3rd-party-hosted javascript file with “http://”.

I temporarily resolved the issue by self-hosting the script.

Please let me know if there’s an alternative fix.
