javascript-issue: The "Required: Create list of recipients"-button does not work (5 posts)

    Hi,

    ALO EasyMail Version 2.5.02
    Wordpress Version 3.9.1

The "Required: Create list of recipients"-button does not work.

Seems to be a javascript-issue. The console says:
"Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function alo-easymail-backend.js?ver=3.9.1:403"

Deactivation/activation of the plugin and all other installed plugins did not fix it.
I'd try to do the workaround discribed in forums and create the list without ajax but I have some thousand receipients and as the warning says "...but it could not work if case of several thousands of recipients." I'd prefer not to try this.

    Your help would be appreciated
    Br

Sometimes it could be a conflict with other plugin javascripts.
Did you install/upgrade other plugins? You can try to temporary disable all plugins, one by one, and see if it EasMail still does not work.

    Thank you for quick reply!

All plugins are up to date and I already tried deactivating them and then create the recepient list - did unfortunately not work.

Could the theme used also cause the issue? (It's the "attitute"-Theme in my case).

Is there a work-around to maybe start the creation of the recipient-list from the console? (I'm not expecting that)

Can you assume or do you have any experience with about how many receipients the sending method (or rather creation of recepient list) without ajax works.

    Thanks again, Br Bob

To be sure you can try to switch temporary to default theme and then try the "Create list of recipients" button.

You can open the dialog using the browser javascript console. The command is:
    aloEM('#alo-easymail-column-status-1 .easymail-reciepient-list-open').trigger('click')
you have to replace the number 1 with the ID of the newsletter.

    Thanks for your answer,

meanwhile the button is working again for unknown reason :-)

Anyway I am sure your answer will be helpful for other users having trouble with the button.

Thanks a lot again, Br, Bob
