A site I look after was hacked. This seems to only have an effect if you are viewing the site in iOS on an iPhone. It does not show up in iOS on the iPad nor does it show up in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.

If you scroll down, you’ll see some text referencing Payday loans. If I don’t get this fixed, I might just need one of those myself 🙂 Based on what I am seeing, this appears to be a javascript injection — but I’m certainly no expert.

I’d like to clean this up but I am not sure where to start. Any thoughts, ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

Regardless of the mechanism, it is still unauthorized access. Backdoors can easily be hidden anywhere. Best to wipe clean and restore from a known clean backup.
