Javascript in Static Page

  • I’ve read the codex articles on using javascript and I’m still lost. Hopefully some kind soul can give me some advice. I’m trying to use a collapsing outline script in a static page, and I’m not sure where all of the different pieces have to be located. Should the js be in an external file or in the actual header template. The script also has it’s own style sheet, and there are images that it calls as well. I would be eternally grateful if anyone could provide clear instructions. If there is a better way to accomplish the same thing I’m open to suggestions. The end product will be an online resume that will collapse into 5 or 6 category headings. Thanks!
