Support » Fixing WordPress » Javascript in single.php

    I’m trying to add a javascript code into single post, but no matter where I put it won’t do anything else but this:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/hjemmem/www/wp-content/themes/german-newspaper/single.php on line 61

    I have this code in all my other wp-blogs, and no problem. This one, however is another story. But the coding is different, and I can’t seem to get it right.

    Please help?

  • This is the code, by the way:

    <script type="text/javascript" src=""></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        bloggrevyenBadge('<?php the_permalink(); ?>');

    Like the other files in this oddball theme, the single.php code is all in ONE php tag, making it uneditable unless you know php.

    But I successfully placed an adsense box in it, somehow… I just don’t know how I did it. 🙂

    Never mind, a friend of mine solved it for me. 🙂
