Javascript error : Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘interval’ of undefined

This error appears on the main Media Library Folders screen before the folders can load. I have already tried the reset but this has not solved it. I have also re/deactivated many plugins to try and sort this problem.

If you using WordPress 5.5 this issue could be caused by the absence of the jquery-migrate plugin which is no longer loaded by default in the new version of WordPress. You can test the by installing the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin. If that resolves the issue, then I can add the code to load the missing jQuery plugin to Media Library Folders.

Yes, the Enable JQuery Migrate Helper plugin resolves the issue. Would appreciate if you can add the missing code to the Media Library Folders.

Yes, JQuery Migrate is now included in version 6.0.2.

I have followed your reset method and installed Enable JQuery Migrate Helper plugin but I still get the same error.

Javascript error : Uncaught ReferenceError: commonL10n is not defined

Javascript error : Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘interval’ of undefined

Hi can you do the following please

attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Maybe the problem is caused by your theme or other plugin

Also, there is a limit to the number of folders that the browser can handle, somewhere above 900 folders. You can find out how many folders your media library has by checking the View Folder Data page in the reset plugin.
