# Javascript error on checkout with Stripe

 * Hi,
    I’m getting a javascript error on checkout, no matter whether the credit
   card number is entered, or is correct or not.
 * It seems to be caused by the facebook checkout tracking event.
 * Here’s a screenshot of what I get in the console:

 * After the page reloads, I have warning diplayed at the top:
    Developers: Please
   make sure that you are including jQuery and there are no JavaScript errors on
   the page.
 * If I deactivate the plugin, I can have the order to complete in a normal way 
   through stripe.
 * Any idea on how to solve this ?

 * have you the “InitiateCheckout” event activated in the general settings? You 
   can find the option in the e-commerce box options.

 * Hi,
    Thanks for the reply. It seems that I have not had the InitiateCheckout 
   event enabled as it was not checked by default and hidden in the Advanced Settings
   section.
 * Maybe you should consider testing if this value is checked or not in the code
   in order to avoid the javascript error which blocks the checkout process.
 * Anyways, with this option checked, there is no error anymore on the checkout 
   page and the order is well taken into account in woocommerce.

 * Sure, thank you for sharing this. I’ll surely keep in mind to fix the issue as
   soon as possible. Just one question: could you please tell me what options did
   you have activated before to activate InitiateCheckout as well?
 * I ask you this in order to understand if the issue is related to some other options.
