I have been using the ACF plugin in development and everything had been working fine until i came to add more content to the website. I noticed that the wysiwyg editor had disappeared and now i can only enter information using html in the text box.

I’ve searched google and when others have had a similar problem it’s been down to javascript errors. I checked to see if my site was throwing up any errors and it’s showing the following two:

    1) ReferenceError: switchEditors is not defined
    2) TypeError: tinyMCE.settings is undefined

This must be what is causing the plugin to not work properly but i have no idea as to what caused it to break in the first place and more importantly how to fix the errors.

    Can anyone please help?

    Thanks

I have managed to resolve this now. The issue was caused by me not adding support for the editor when i created my custom post type.
