# Java Script in Page has HTML added by the editor

 * I have some Java Script in my Page that errors when added to the Page template.
   It does work when it is not a part of WP.
 * When I look at View>Source I see that HTML is being added to my Java Script for
   Example”
 * ‘<p><script language=”javascript”>
    var pa = new Array(); var pb = new Array();
   var pc = new Array();</p> <p>pa[0] = new Array(229,229,329,379,479,479,479,588,763,937,937,1403,1403);‘
 * This shows that ‘<p>’ tags are being added to my code. I think this may be the
   problem.
 * What should I do?

 * put that code in EDITOR AS HTML MODE not VISUAL MODE

 * Thanks for the suggestion, but yes I have placed the code in the HTML mode.
