# Java or Jquery headache

 * Hey Guys,
 * Thanks for the possible help. I have been working with WordPress for some time
   now, and haven’t experienced this until the last 2 sites I’ve tried to WordPress.
   Both use html templates, which I’ve “ported” into WordPress using the Starkers
   naked theme. Now typically, I can still use plugins like Easing Slider, even 
   though it’s not a WordPress template I’m using. Recently however, I cannot get
   any jquery to work at all. Even if I install a manual version of Nivo Slider (
   link all the .js files myself, etc), it will not work. In all cases, it just 
   displays the images straight down the page. Any ideas? Any help would be great!
