Hello,

When downloading files, Japanese filenames are garbled in IE 11 and Edge.
In Chrome and Firefox, japanese filenames are not garbled.
I think that it is a problem of character code conversion by judgment of user agent.
Is there any solution?

Can you please share us a link to your download as well as a screenshot of the download edit page showing the actual URL of the file that is being downloaded?

Hey Tom,

Thank you for your patience. I tried it and face the same issue. This is not something that is done by our plugin so we don’t have control over it. I googled about this and came across similar issues reported by other users https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/102f6a61-e558-4594-87c8-280955bd5e78/download-file-with-file-name-in-japanese-character-gets-garbled?forum=ieitprocurrentver.

P.S. I will need to mark this issue as closed, as it’s not related to our plugin.
