I used this plugin to create a few custom roles and set certain capabilities for those roles but ever since then, it’s been nothing but issues. I can’t access certain plugin admin screens/settings (even as the super admin), I get a ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’ message.

@cbubny If you want to post a screen capture of the role capabilities you set, I might be able to spot the issue. What plugin admin screens are you seeing that error message for?

If you need to roll back to a previous role configuration, take a look at Capabilities > Backup. Your initial role configuration prior to plugin install is available for restore, as well as the role configuration prior to each change you saved.

Thanks for the quick response Kevin. It’s just a single plugin ‘Conditional WooCommerce Checkout Field’. Even when I reset the configuration to backup, it doesn’t fix the issue so it’s either a conflict with another plugin or their plugin causing the issue. That said, when I reset permissions on my dev instance, I notice that my admin role can no longer access anything, without me once again setting proper capabilities. Is that by design?

Hi @cbubny. Could you contact us via our site and send in the Site Health data requested there?

That would help us debug this. Certainly none of this is normal behavior and we’d like to debug it.
