# iWeb to WordPress

 * Hi there,
 * I had an old site in iWeb and just installed WordPress on that domain. At first,
   I could get into the new WP dashboard, but when I tried to “Visit Site”, it would
   go to a 404 page. The domain I installed WP on is evolveyogafitness.com, and 
   that 404 page was [http://evolveyogafitness.com/Evolve_Yoga_+_Fitness/Home.html](http://evolveyogafitness.com/Evolve_Yoga_+_Fitness/Home.html).
 * Then, I deleted the iWeb files, and it was still going to that page with the 
   long extension (/Evolve_Yoga_+_Fitness/Home.html). My web host (BlueHost) was
   able to do something in the .htaccess file to make the 404 page stop coming up,
   and now I CAN view the site…but the home page is still going to [http://evolveyogafitness.com/Evolve_Yoga_+_Fitness/Home.html](http://evolveyogafitness.com/Evolve_Yoga_+_Fitness/Home.html)
   instead of just [http://evolveyogafitness.com](http://evolveyogafitness.com).
 * I’ve read a couple of threads in here about a similar issue, but haven’t found
   the solution yet. BlueHost suggested I contact a developer or WordPress to help…
   as they couldn’t figure it out.
 * If you have any other ideas, I’d be oh-so-grateful!

 * Look in the web root directory, where files like wp-login.php are. If you see
   an index.html or home.html file there, delete it.
